There is a Prize to Pay

For every opportunity that presents itself to move to a higher level, there is always an extra demand-commitment, scarifies, dedication,zeal and what have you. In moving to the next level in whatever field we are as individuals, there is always a prize to pay.

Nobody wants to remain on the same spot for too long a time. We all want to get better, we all want a better deal out of live, and we want to move to another stage and phase of live. The desire to get better is always growing within us- we want around us to see that we are indeed getting better, we all want to grow and get better- both young and old. We want to better our previous records; we want to render those records "impotent" and make the waste basket there dwelling place.

No matter how big our desire for a change might be we have to realize that there is a basic fact: there is a prize to pay. Things do not change automatically; we have roles to pay- a very important one for that matter. If desires were all it takes to get there, the grave would be one of the most desirable tourist sites (to visit). A lot of people laying in the grave today one desire at a particular time or the other to move to a better and greater height in life but, their desires never saw the light of day because, they were unwilling to pay the prize.

What is the prize we have to pay? As we continue you will get the answer(s) to this million dollar question. A question we all must ask ourselves and be sincere as we give our give our answers to this question life throws at us. A high degree of sincerity is needed in answering this question.

We all want to attain our set goals in live but, not everyone wants to pay the prize required. We have to be honest with ourselves; nothing good and worthwhile comes easy, there is always a sacrifice we have to pay to move to the next level. Even to remain on the same spot, you have to pay the prize. So why not go for the best option; pay the prize for a better life. People who have remained on the same spot have paid the prize so have those who have moved ahead. People who have remained on the same spot have paid the prize for refusing to pay the sacrifice they needed to when the time demanded.

Lack of commitment has been the greatest undoing of some. Not willing to give what it takes to attain what you ought to. If only we will be honest with ourselves as individuals that, we have failed at one time in life due to our unwillingness to pay the prize we should have.

It will never be too late once you are ready and willing to give what is required of you to get to your desired height in your life and chosen career. Although, paying this prize will not be easy but we have to in order to get a better deal out of live. Pay the prize and you will have nothing to regret in the future.
